Islamabad, 20 April 2025: PCB has reported a remarkable increase in online viewership for the ongoing PSL 2025, despite the tournament overlapping with IPL.
In a statement released by the board, officials confirmed that digital streaming figures for PSL 10 have seen an 826.5% rise compared to the previous season.
This surge in viewership has come even as PSL matches were being played at the same time as the IPL, the most commercially successful cricket league.
According to the PCB, PSL matches are being broadcast on A Sports HD and PTV Sports, while fans have also been able to access games through digital platforms.

These streaming options, especially on mobile, have made the tournament more accessible than ever before.
PCB stated that the growth in digital viewership reflects the increasing interest of local fans in the league, as well as improved production quality and wider online availability.
The board also credited the Urdu commentary option and enhanced mobile streaming experience as key factors in attracting more viewers.
While both PSL and IPL continue to run during the same window, PCB expressed confidence that premier T20 tournament is carving out its own strong identity.

PSL has also attracted attention for its competitive matches and standout individual performances, helping maintain fan engagement both in stadiums and online.
The significant growth in viewership is being seen as a positive sign not only for the league but also for digital sports ecosystem, which appears to be evolving rapidly.
It is pertinent to mention here that the unbeaten Islamabad United will lock horns with Karachi Kings today at the National bank Cricket Arena.
Islamabad United, led by Shadab Khan, are currently at the top of the points table with six points in their pocket after winning all their games.
