Islamabad, 16 June 2025: 2025–26 Budget, The Punjab government has earmarked a significant allocation of Rs. 7.6 billion in its latest financial plan to boost the province’s sports infrastructure and development initiatives.

As part of the 2025–26 Budget, the proposed funding includes over Rs. 2.43 billion set aside for 88 newly introduced development schemes, aimed at expanding access to sporting facilities and nurturing talent at the grassroots level.

In addition, nearly Rs. 5.17 billion has been allocated to ensure the completion of ongoing development projects under the province’s sports sector. These efforts are expected to enhance existing venues and provide modern training environments for athletes across Punjab.
