Punjab Education Foundation orders relocation of students from flood-affected schools in Lahore to safer buildings, ensuring their safety during ongoing rains and flooding.
Punjab Education Foundation (PEF) has ordered all schools to make their buildings available for use as flood relief camps due to heavy rains and flooding. The directive, issued by PEF officials, applies to schools in flood-affected areas of Lahore and is aimed at providing shelter to displaced families.
The order stipulates that students from flood-affected schools should not be forced to attend classes in damaged buildings. Instead, they will be accommodated in other, unaffected school buildings. The management of these schools will be responsible for ensuring the safety of the students and their belongings.
