Islamabad, Dec 12: The official winter vacation timetable for schools has been released by the Punjab government. Beginning on December 20, 2024, and lasting until January 10, 2025, the break will provide workers and students with a 20-day vacation.
Noting that Punjab’s public and private schools will use the same dates, Secretary Khalid Nazir Wattoo underlined the significance of preserving a balanced academic calendar. Parents are urged to engage in beneficial activities throughout the holiday in addition to relaxing. In addition to encouraging good habits throughout the winter months, it’s a chance to spend quality time with kids.
It is recommended that parents restrict their children’s screen time and instead promote learning-oriented activities like reading and skill development. Regular lessons will resume on January 11, 2025, when schools reopen.
Instructors are supposed to concentrate on going over the material again, getting students ready for tests, and assisting them in staying on task with their tasks. Before tackling the scholastic responsibilities of the new year, students, parents, and educators can take advantage of this much-needed opportunity to relax and rejuvenate during the winter break.
