LAHORE June, 10, 2025: The Punjab government has officially granted permission to private schools to hold summer camps from June 15 to July 15, despite an ongoing heatwave sweeping across the province.

The Punjab Education Department has made it clear that schools are not allowed to charge any extra fees for these camps, ensuring equitable access to all students.

Summer Camps Details:

  • Duration: June 15 to July 15
  • Timings: 7:30 AM to 10:00 AM (to prevent exposure during extreme heat)
  • Fees: Absolutely no additional charges permitted

Punjab Education Minister Rana Sikandar Hayat confirmed the move on his official X (formerly Twitter) account. He stated that the camps aim to promote “continued learning and student engagement” during the summer break.
