Punjab Planning and Development Board has approved development projects worth Rs. 28 billion for the fiscal year 2025-26. The approval came during the 34th meeting of the Provincial Development Working Party chaired by Dr. Naeem Rauf, Chairman of the P&D Board.
The newly approved projects cover multiple sectors. These include Rs. 9 billion for the repair and construction of PERA enforcement station buildings and Rs. 7 billion for setting up new enforcement stations. Under the Home Reach Program, Rs. 970 million has been allocated for a skilled development initiative.
In addition, Rs. 900 million has been set aside for the repair and construction of Kamahan to Ladhar Road from Azam Chowk to Rana Chowk. Another Rs. 3.8 billion has been allocated for the dual carriageway from Abdullah Gul Interchange to Gondi Check Post up to Burki Road.

Furthermore, Rs. 870 million has been approved for the rehabilitation of Sundar Raiwind Road from Mill Adda to Raiwind.
