Islamabad, Jan 9: In a significant shift for the 2025 academic year, the Punjab Education Board has announced that the Islamiat exam for Grade 9 will now be a single, comprehensive paper worth 100 marks, lasting three hours. This change consolidates the previously separate 50-mark exams for Islamiat and Pakistan Studies into one unified assessment.

To assist students and educators in adapting to this new format, the Punjab Textbook Board has released a model paper for the Islamiat exam. This model paper is available on the official websites of all educational boards, providing a valuable resource for exam preparation.

This restructuring aims to streamline the examination process and offer a more integrated evaluation of students’ understanding of Islamiat and Pakistan Studies. Educational authorities encourage students to utilize the model paper to familiarize themselves with the new exam structure and question types.
