Educational boards in Punjab have decided to introduce a new feature that will allow parents to directly access their children’s examination results.
Under this system, students will no longer be able to withhold their results from parents, as results can also be retrieved using the parents’ CNIC numbers.
In the initial phase, this feature will be implemented for ninth and tenth-grade results, with plans to extend the same policy to intermediate-level results in the second phase.
Under the Lahore Board, over 1 million students participate annually in matriculation and intermediate examinations. The new feature is expected to be implemented from the upcoming academic year 2026.
