The Punjab Special Education Department has announced a change in the working hours of all special children’s schools across the province. The new schedule has come into effect from today, according to an official statement issued by the department.

As per the new timetable, schools in plain areas will operate from 8:45 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. from Monday to Thursday. On Fridays, classes will be held from 8:45 a.m. to 11:45 a.m.

The department has directed all special education centers to ensure strict compliance with the revised working hours. Officials stated that the decision was taken to maintain uniformity in schedules and to provide a more convenient routine for students and teachers.

The Punjab Special Education Department further emphasized that monitoring teams will visit institutions to make sure the new timings are followed properly.
