While Punjab and Sindh have taken the lead in recognizing Kashmir Solidarity Day, the federal government has yet to officially declare it a holiday. However, it’s worth noting that Kashmir Day has already been included in the federal cabinet division’s list of public holidays for 2025, suggesting the federal announcement may come soon.
The observance of Kashmir Solidarity Day is an annual event to show support for the Kashmiri people’s right to self-determination and highlight their ongoing struggles.
