The Sargodha district administration has announced the closure of all educational institutions in flood-affected areas of Kot Momin, Sargodha, as rising floodwaters continue to disrupt daily life.
Deputy Commissioner Captain (retd) Muhammad Waseem said schools will remain closed from August 27 to September 2 to ensure the safety of students and teachers in the affected areas. He stressed that the decision aims to avoid any risks from heavy rains and swollen rivers impacting parts of the district.

The closure applies specifically to flood-hit areas of Kot Momin, Sargodha district where local authorities are actively monitoring the situation. Relief operations are ongoing, and residents have been urged to remain cautious until water levels recede.
