Islamabad, July 19, 2025: The Punjab Safe Cities Authority (PSCA) has extended its free public Wi-Fi service to 710 locations across 22 districts in Punjab.
The project, originally launched in a limited number of areas, now covers more cities and towns, including Lahore, Kasur, Sheikhupura, Nankana Sahib, Gujrat, Sialkot, Jhelum, Attock, Hasan Abdal, Sahiwal, Okara, and Murree.
Lahore has seen a notable increase in internet access points, rising from 230 to 430. According to PSCA officials, the network has served over 37 million users so far, with more than 905 terabytes of data consumed.
Compared to March 2025, when the service was available at around 300 sites in 11 districts and had recorded 17.7 million users and 438 terabytes of usage, this expansion marks a significant leap in both reach and performance.
