Islamabad, Mar 15 2025: Punjab CM Maryam Nawaz Sharif has sanctioned the extension of the Honhaar Scholarship Program initiative to accommodate students from Gilgit-Baltistan pursuing education in Punjab’s specialized academic institutions.
This decision aims to provide financial relief and ensure that deserving students from remote regions receive equal educational opportunities.
Expressing appreciation for Punjab’s commitment to academic development, Gilgit-Baltistan government spokesperson Faizullah Firaaq commended the move.

To streamline the process and facilitate students, a dedicated Honhaar Scholarship Program initiative Help Desk has been established. The desk will operate between 9 AM and 5 PM, addressing inquiries and resolving issues related to the scholarship.
