The Punjab government has taken an important decision in view of the possible wheat shortage in the province, extending the ban on the use of wheat in feed mills for another 30 days.
According to the notification issued by the Punjab Home Secretary, under Section 144(6) of the Code of Criminal Procedure 1898, feed mills across the province are prohibited from using wheat. Wheat will only be allowed to be used in flour mills for the production of flour.

The Punjab government has taken this step to ensure the availability of wheat for consumers and to prevent any potential shortage in the market.
