Islamabad, Sep 12: Date for Distribution of Himmat Card Starting on September 16, “Himmat Cards” will be distributed throughout Punjab by Bait-ul-Mal and the Department of Social Welfare. A government spokesman stated that Punjab Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz will deliver the Himmat Cards to those with disabilities in person.
40,000 people will get the cards in the first phase; on September 16, 15,000 people from Lahore will be the first to obtain them. People with disabilities would earn Rs 10,500 per quarter through the Himmat Card. June saw the start of card registration.
The spokesperson further claimed that under the Himmat Card program, the Bank of Punjab will give ATM cards to 65,000 individuals across the province, which will be referred to as the Himmat Card. A ceremony at a nearby hotel in Lahore is already being planned.
