Islamabad, June 24, 2025: The District Health Authority (DHA) Bahawalpur has officially directed all concerned medical officers and health facility heads to relieve all contract and adhoc employees immediately upon the expiry of their service period.

According to the notification issued, the directive applies to the following:

  • All Deputy District Health Officers
  • Medical Superintendents of THQ Hospitals
  • Senior Medical Officers of RHCs
  • Medical Officers of BHUs
  • Health Managers of Maryam Nawaz Health Clinics

The DHA emphasized that no extension will be granted after the expiry of the contract or adhoc period, and the concerned staff must be relieved without delay, with the exception of employees involved in court cases.

Officials have been strictly instructed to comply without further loss of time and report the relieving status accordingly.

This move is aimed at ensuring transparency and compliance with the contract policy set by the Punjab government and the Health Department regulations.
