Punjab Workers Welfare Complex in Sundar Industrial Estate, Kasur (Phase I) is currently providing 720 modern flats to qualified workers. This provincial housing program assures widows, disabled workers and ordinary laborers of affordable, safe and secure places to live. The qualifications required to be met are a minimum of three years of verifiable employment and registration with PESSI or EOBI.

Eligibility & Quotas:

  • Widows of Deceased Workers: 3 percent quota.
  • Handicapped workers: 2 percent quota, with a valid disability certificate.
  • Open category: 95 percent quota of workers who fulfill the employment criteria.
  • Other Requirements: Applicants and their spouses should neither own property nor have a bad legal record.

Application Process:

It is free and can be obtained at Kasur Local Authority Office (Raiwind Road, Khara Chungi), Lahore South Zone NADRA Office (1122 Chandni Chowk, Township) and Lahore North Zone Labour Colony (Defence Road, near COMSATS University). Processing fee of Rs 500 is needed through Bank of Punjab (A/C 6580000602300082).

Flat Allocation and District Quota:

The Allotment of flats is carried out by way of a transparent lottery: two-thirds of the flats to Kasur and one-third to Lahore.
