Islamabad, 9 May, 2025: Air Attack Emergencies preparedness efforts have intensified, as the Punjab government has issued a comprehensive set of public safety protocols to be followed in the event of aerial threats or related emergencies.
Officials have instructed residents to immediately move to secure indoor locations such as restrooms or basements should warning sirens be triggered.

Every household and public building is urged to stock essential emergency supplies, including water, flashlights, dry food items, and a well-equipped first aid kit.

These exits must remain unobstructed at all times to facilitate quick movement during crises. In line with modern challenges, officials also warned the public against sharing unverified social media content related to national security or emergency responses.
Air Attack Emergencies instructions also underscore the need to avoid direct contact with suspicious items, such as unidentified drones or strange packages.
Any such discovery should be reported without delay to local emergency services including Police (15), Rescue (1122), or Civil Defence.
During any tragic incident, the priority should be to notify emergency responders immediately. Once personal safety is ensured, individuals may assist victims.
Rescue protocols advise loudly asking able-bodied individuals to gather in one location to help triage efforts.

These precautions form part of a broader civic strategy to improve readiness and public awareness surrounding Air Attack Emergencies.
