Punjab Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz Sharif has launched a new and revolutionary cancer treatment method called “Coablation” in Punjab through advanced machinery imported from China.
This treatment has been introduced for the first time not only in Punjab but also in Pakistan’s history. With this new technology, cancer patients will have better chances of faster recovery with less pain.
Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz Sharif inaugurated Punjab’s first “Coablation” Cancer Treatment Center at Lahore’s renowned Mayo Hospital. With this advanced machinery, cancer treatment is now possible without the need for chemotherapy or surgery.

In Coablation treatment, electric heat is used to burn the affected tissues, helping in the removal of tumors. This method has proven particularly effective in treating liver tumors and breast cancer.
Doctors at Mayo Hospital recently treated patients with lung and breast cancer successfully. They said that this technology has made it possible to effectively treat liver tumors blocking blood vessels as well as breast cancer tumors.
Senior doctors at Mayo Hospital have called this a major breakthrough in cancer treatment. Dr. Ayesha Ahmed, an expert in this method, said it is a revolutionary step that will transform cancer care in Pakistan.
