Islamabad, 25, Apr, 2025: In a fresh recruitment campaign, Punjab Police has announced a range of vacancies for constables, lady constables, traffic assistants, drivers, and members of the elite special squads across several districts of the province.
The official notification, issued by the Central Police Office in Lahore, outlines strict eligibility standards and invites applications from local candidates by May 12, 2025.
Eligibility Criteria and Positions
Applicants must belong to the districts for which the posts are advertised. The announced roles include:

Police Drivers
These positions are available in districts including Murree, Chakwal, Rawalpindi, and others. Notably, Arabic-speaking candidates are exclusively required in the Murree district.
Age, Education, and Physical Requirements
Candidates applying for constable and driver roles must be between 18 to 22 years of age, while some posts allow up to 30 years. Minimum educational qualification is a Secondary School Certificate (Matric).
Applicants must also meet physical fitness standards. Male candidates should have a minimum height of 5 feet 7 inches with a chest size of 34-35 inches, while female applicants must be at least 5 feet 2 inches tall.

Both male and female applicants will undergo endurance tests: men must complete a 1.6 km run in 7 minutes, and women in 10 minutes.
For driving roles, candidates should hold a valid driving license and have at least two years of experience, including knowledge of highway traffic rules.
Application Process
Application forms can be downloaded from the official Punjab Police website (www.punjabpolice.gov.pk). The filled form, along with attested copies of educational certificates, CNIC, domicile, and a fee of Rs. 300, must be submitted to the respective District Police Line by the deadline.
Government employees must submit their applications through their departments with a No Objection Certificate (NOC).

Other Key Instructions
Special quotas have been reserved for minority candidates. Retired police personnel may apply for additional marks, provided they attach supporting documents such as pension books and service orders.
All candidates will undergo a physical test, driving assessment (for driver posts), and an interview. Falsified information will result in disqualification and possible legal action.
