Punjab Rangers (Punjab) opens 598 new vacancies with provincial quotas, apply at recruitment centers by August 27, 2025.

Pakistan Rangers (Punjab) has announced the recruitment of 598 new positions, inviting applications from eligible candidates nationwide. The recruitment process will remain open until August 27, 2025, with candidates required to apply through designated centres in Lahore, Mandi Bahauddin, Rahim Yar Khan and Bahawalpur.

The allocation of vacancies has been set under the provincial quota system. Out of the total seats, Punjab has been assigned 299 posts, followed by Khyber Pakhtunkhwa with 69, Sindh (urban) 45, Balochistan 36, Azad Kashmir 12 and Gilgit-Baltistan 6. The quota-based system ensures representation from across the country.

As a civil armed force operating under the Ministry of Interior, Pakistan Rangers (Punjab) is tasked with guarding the eastern border of Punjab while also assisting in internal security duties when called upon by the federal government. Applicants must fulfill the required educational qualifications and meet the prescribed standards of physical fitness set by the Rangers. The recruitment drive reflects ongoing efforts to strengthen the force and expand its operational capacity.
