Islamabad, Jan 8: The Punjab Safe Cities Authority (PSCA) has officially launched the “My Identity” service, aimed at enhancing security and providing residents with easier access to various public services.

However, The service simplifies identity verification and is part of PSCA’s efforts to enhance safety and digital services in the province.

The Safe City Project aims to use technology-led policing to make the Capital City a model of security. It installs Intelligence Video Surveillance and Vehicle Management System cameras in ICT with Automatic Number Plate Recognition.

Key Features of the “My Identity” Service:

  • Digital Identity Verification: however service allows Punjab residents to verify their identity digitally, providing an efficient and secure way to access government services.
  • Access to Multiple Services: “My Identity” will be used to access various public sector services, including police assistance, traffic management, and emergency response systems.
  • Simplified Process: The service offers a simplified process for registering and updating personal information, making it easier for citizens to interact with government departments.
  • Integration with Safe City Initiatives: The service is part of the Safe Cities initiative, improving law enforcement, traffic, and emergency response with digital solutions.
  • Enhanced Security Measures: The service uses advanced technology to securely store and access personal data, reducing identity theft and fraud risks.
  • User-Friendly Platform: Although service is accessible via a user-friendly mobile app and web portal, ensuring a smooth experience for users of all ages.
How to File a Complaint with the Punjab Government
The Public Grievance Redressal System allows citizens to submit complaints online anytime, ensuring quick action and resolution by State Departments.

However, PSCA handles cases of muggings or damaged phones, preventing access to the WhatsApp panic button (03070000015) for emergency contact.

However,  The launch of the “My Identity” service marks an important step in the Punjab Safe Cities Authority’s mission to create a smarter, safer, and more digitally connected environment for its citizens.
