Islamabad, May 11. 2025: After a brief pause in academic activities, Punjab Education Minister Rana Sikandar Hayat has officially announced that all schools, colleges, and universities in the province will resume classes starting Monday.

Sharing the update on social media, the minister stated, “Inshallah all schools, colleges and universities to resume classes tomorrow,” signaling the end of the temporary closure that had been in place until Sunday, May 11.

The shutdown was initially enforced as a precautionary measure due to ongoing national developments, with the government prioritizing public safety during an uncertain period.

According to Rana Sikandar Hayat, the decision to reopen was made after careful assessment of the current situation, which has now stabilized enough to allow for safe resumption of educational operations.

This announcement comes as a relief to students and parents who were awaiting clarity on the reopening timeline.
