Islamabad, July 11, 2025: Punjab Education Minister Rana Sikandar Hayat has announced a major expansion of the Daanish Schools network across the province, with special focus on improving campuses in Mianwali, Attock, Dera Ghazi Khan, Rajanpur, and Vehari.

In the 37th meeting of the Punjab Daanish Schools and Centre of Excellence Authority, it was decided to launch four new Daanish Schools — two for boys and two for girls — in Taunsa and Mankera. The authority also approved the start of classes at new Centres of Excellence in Chakwal and Pir Mahal this year. Another Centre of Excellence will be built in Phool Nagar (Kasur) under the Annual Development Programme (ADP).

To promote national inclusion, the quota for Balochistan students will be increased across all Daanish Schools. During the meeting, Managing Director Ahmer Mallick outlined the institution’s achievements and goals.

Minister Rana Sikandar emphasized that 84% of Daanish graduates secured spots in top universities, a sign of growing public trust in the system. He reaffirmed that no student will be left behind due to financial hardship, stressing continued support via Honhaar and PEEF scholarships.
