Auction of attractive numbers at low prices: Excise authorities have decided to increase the base prices of special numbers.
According to spokesperson sources, the base prices of 64 attractive numbers will be increased tenfold. In the e-auction, the base prices of numbers 1 and 786 have been raised. The price of attractive numbers will go up from 10,000 to 100,000 rupees. The base price of double numbers will increase from 5,000 to 50,000 rupees, while triple numbers will rise from 2,500 to 25,000 rupees.
According to the officials, an additional 10,000 rupees will have to be paid for the 999 series numbers. After the launch of the new system, numbers will be issued during registration and transfer. Under the new system, 3 car series per day and 1 motorcycle series per day are being issued.

The DG Excise has forwarded the summary of the price increase to the government, and once it is approved, the new prices will be implemented.
