Islamabad, Apr 10, 2025: Railways Minister Muhammad Hanif Abbasi revealed that the Punjab government has officially decided to revamp Lahore and Rawalpindi railway stations, bringing them up to global standards.

Modernization Efforts and Upgraded Features

Abbasi outlined that, as part of the modernization project, the government plans to introduce a host of modern amenities at both stations.

These improvements will feature escalators, renovated washrooms, expanded waiting lounges, and other essential facilities aimed at enhancing passenger comfort.
