Islamabad, Feb 28: The University of the Punjab has officially updated its office hours for the holy month of Ramadan 2025. A notification issued by the Office of the Registrar details the adjusted timings for university staff to accommodate the fasting schedule while maintaining operational efficiency.
Updated Office Hours
For employees following a five-day workweek, the revised timings are:
- Monday to Thursday: 8:00 AM – 2:00 PM
- Friday: 8:00 AM – 12:00 PM
For staff engaged in essential services, who work six days a week, the timings are:
- Monday to Saturday (except Friday): 8:00 AM – 1:00 PM
- Friday: 8:00 AM – 12:00 PM
This schedule will remain in effect throughout Ramadan to ensure convenience for staff members observing the fast while maintaining university operations smoothly.
Official Announcement and Implementation
The notification, signed by Registrar Dr. Ahmad Islam, was officially released on February 26, 2025. It has been circulated to deans, principals, directors, and other key officials within Punjab University for necessary implementation.
