Islamabad, Mar 26, 2025: Quaid-e-Azam University (QAU) Islamabad has officially declared a holiday break spanning from March 27 to April 4, 2025, in honor of Jumu’ah-tul-Wida and Eid-ul-Fitr.
This announcement was made through an official notification issued by the university administration.
As per the circular, all academic and administrative operations at QAU will remain suspended for nine consecutive days, with normal activities resuming on April 7, 2025.

The decision has been formally approved by the Vice-Chancellor and communicated to faculty deans, department heads, hostel wardens, and other relevant officials.
Additionally, the notification has been displayed on the university’s official notice board to ensure widespread awareness among students and staff.
This extended break aims to provide students and faculty with a stress-free opportunity to celebrate the joyous occasion of Eid-ul-Fitr with their loved ones.
The university administration acknowledges the significance of the festive period and hopes that this leave will allow everyone to observe the celebrations in a relaxed and comfortable manner.
