Islamabad, 30 April 2025: Quetta Gladiators delivered a commanding performance in Lahore, thrashing Multan Sultans by 10 wickets in the 18th match of PSL Season 10.

The victory, sealed at Gaddafi Stadium, marked Quetta’s fourth win of the campaign and pushed them to second on the points table.

Chasing a small target of 90, the Gladiators wasted no time. Finn Allen gave the innings early momentum, attacking David Willey with two sixes and a four in the second over.

The openers maintained a blistering pace, reaching the target with 79 balls remaining — the largest margin by balls in PSL history.

Allen remained unbeaten on 45 from 21 balls, while his partner Saud Shakeel also impressed with 42* off just 20 deliveries.

The pair ensured a comfortable finish as Allen launched Usama Mir over the ropes to complete the rout.

Multan, who had chosen to bat first, faced a batting collapse from the outset.

Despite a brief resistance from captain Mohammad Rizwan, who top-scored with 44, the rest of the batting lineup faltered.

Faheem Ashraf removed Iftikhar Ahmed early, followed by Michael Bracewell’s dismissal for a duck. By the 10th over, Multan had slumped to 43-6.

Rizwan’s efforts couldn’t salvage the innings, as he became the last batter to fall, bowled by Ubaid Shah. Multan were dismissed for just 89 runs in 17 overs — their lowest total this season.

With this win, Quetta solidified their spot in the top two, while Multan slipped further, now anchored at the bottom with just one victory from seven games.
