Rail traffic on the Narowal–Sialkot section has been restored after remaining suspended for 18 days due to flood damage.
On August 26, floodwaters from the Dek drain breached the safety embankment and swept away a 520-foot stretch of track between Pasrur and Ahmedabad stations.
During the closure, the Allama Iqbal Express, Lasani Express and Sialkot Express had their routes curtailed, with some trains departing from Narowal instead of Sialkot.
