The Department of Meteorology has forecasted rain accompanied by wind and thunder in various parts of the country.
Most areas of the country will experience hot weather, while the southern regions will endure very hot conditions with dusty winds and thunderstorms.
Gilgit-Baltistan, Kashmir, Upper Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, North-East Punjab, the Potohar region, and Islamabad are expected to witness scattered thundershowers along with wind and squalls.
Islamabad and its surrounding areas are likely to be partly cloudy, windy, and gusty, with isolated thundershowers.
The majority of Punjab’s districts are experiencing hot weather, with the southern districts facing extremely hot conditions and the possibility of dusty and gusty winds.
Rainfall is predicted in Murree, Guliyat, Chakwal, Rawalpindi, Attock, Jhelum, Gujarat, Gujranwala, Narowal, Sialkot, Lahore, Kasur, Sheikhupura, Nankana Sahib, Faisalabad, Mandi Bahauddin, and Bahawalnagar, accompanied by thunderstorms at some locations.
Most districts of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa are experiencing hot weather, while the southern districts may encounter strong and gusty winds. However, Kohistan, Shangla, Butgram, Swat, Chitral, Dir, Abbottabad, Haripur, and Mansehra are likely to experience strong winds accompanied by thunderstorms at some locations.
In Balochistan, apart from hot weather in most districts, southwestern districts may experience dusty winds. Similarly, most districts of Sindh are facing hot weather, while coastal areas are experiencing hot and humid conditions.
The Meteorological Department has also predicted rain in Kashmir and Gilgit-Baltistan today, accompanied by strong winds and isolated thundershowers.
