Islamabad, Mar 2, 2025: As the sacred month of Ramadan begins, several regions across Pakistan, including the federal capital, Punjab, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, and Balochistan, are anticipated to experience rainfall and snowfall, while most districts in Sindh are likely to stay dry.
The Pakistan Meteorological Department has forecasted rain accompanied by gusty winds for Islamabad, Rawalpindi, Murree, Galiyat, and their adjoining areas during nighttime.
Additionally, showers are expected in multiple districts of Punjab, such as Attock, Chakwal, Jhelum, Gujrat, Hafizabad, Gujranwala, Faisalabad, Jhang, Toba Tek Singh, Sahiwal, Sargodha, Khushab, Mianwali, Bhakkar, Multan, Dera Ghazi Khan, Layyah, Rajanpur, Rahim Yar Khan, and Kot Addu.

In Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, rain and snowfall are predicted in several areas, including Chitral, Dir, Swat, Shangla, Malakand, Kohistan, Mansehra, Battagram, Abbottabad, Haripur, and Buner.
Additionally, rainfall is expected in Bajaur, Mohmand, Khyber, Orakzai, Kurram, Waziristan, Lakki Marwat, Dera Ismail Khan, Peshawar, and Charsadda.
Similarly, Balochistan is also set to witness showers and snowfall in Quetta, Ziarat, Chaman, Mastung, Pishin, and Qila Abdullah, among other districts.
Conversely, most areas of Sindh are projected to remain dry, with no significant precipitation expected during this period.
