Islamabad, July 29, 2025: Rawalpindi is set to undergo a major transformation as the PHA beautification campaign kicks off across the city. The Parks and Horticulture Authority (PHA), under the leadership of Director General Ahmed Hassan Ranjha, has launched several projects aimed at enhancing the city key intersections, parks and public spaces.
One of the most notable developments is the renovation of the Rehmanabad Clock Tower located on Murree Road. This iconic structure is currently being redesigned with a completely new architectural style, featuring graceful arches, detailed columns and artistic cornices. The base of the tower is being raised and expanded with intricate stone finishes being added to give it a fresh and eye-catching look.
The surroundings of the clock tower are also receiving attention as part of the broader PHA Rawalpindi beautification campaign. The area is being landscaped with colorful flowers and lush greenery while a decorative fence with balustrades is being installed to frame the site.
