Islamabad, July 10, 2025: Pakistani rower Rayyan Imran secured a historic gold medal in the Open Men’s Double Sculls and a silver in the Quads at the Dutch International Youth Regatta 2025, putting Pakistan firmly on the global rowing map.
Imran’s stellar performance came against top international youth athletes. “This is a huge milestone for my career and for the future of rowing in Pakistan,” said Rayyan, reflecting on his success.
Having competed in global events across Vienna, Lithuania, and the Maldives, Rayyan brings experience and passion to the sport. He believes rowing can be a strong opportunity for Pakistani youth, a sport still in its early stages locally but flourishing worldwide.
