Islamabad, Mar 25, 2025: The Rawalpindi Development Authority (RDA) has issued strict directives to private housing societies.

Mandating them to adhere to their approved layout plans and deliver all promised basic amenities to residents. Non-compliance will lead to legal action from the authority.

RDA Director General Kinza Murtaza held an open kutchery at the University Town Housing Scheme to address public grievances and ensure timely resolutions to residents’ concerns.

During the session, locals voiced several issues, including the need for a mosque, a park, clear plot demarcations, a playground, garbage bins,Private Housing Societies.

Street lighting, an improved sewage system, better road infrastructure, and a stable water supply. Reaffirming the RDA’s dedication to public service, Kinza Murtaza stated, “Our priority is to serve the people and ensure that their concerns are addressed effectively.”

She directed RDA officials to give special attention to public complaints to maximize convenience for residents.

As part of the initiative, the University Town Housing Scheme management has been given a three-month deadline to resolve all raised concerns, ensuring residents receive the facilities they were promised.
