Islamabad, May 24, 2025: Real Betis vs Valencia CF ended 2024–25 Laliga EA Sports campaign with a hard-fought 1-1 draw in Matchday 38 at Estadio Benito Villamarín on Friday night.

The home side took the lead just before halftime through Brazilian winger Antony, who capitalised on a turnover and fired a low shot into the far corner from outside the box. The goal came at a time when both teams were playing cautiously, with few clear chances in the opening 45 minutes.

Valencia started the match with energy, and their first real opportunity came in the 15th minute when Diego López sent a dangerous cross to Sadiq, but the Betis defence cleared it just in time. Their persistence was finally rewarded in the 74th minute when André Almeida slipped a clever pass through the Betis backline. Substitute Rafa Mir latched onto it and slotted a neat finish into the corner to make it 1-1.

Despite efforts from both sides in the final stages, neither team managed to find a winner. Mamardashvili made a key save to deny Abde shortly after Betis’ best chance of the second half.
