The RedMagic 11 is set to launch later this year, and fresh details from China have confirmed what fans can expect. The gaming-focused smartphone will run on the upcoming Snapdragon 8 Elite 2 chipset, which Qualcomm is scheduled to unveil in September.

One of the biggest highlights of the RedMagic 11 is its upgraded built-in cooling fan, designed to improve performance during heavy gaming sessions. Despite having an active cooling system, the phone will also carry an IP68 rating for dust and water resistance, making it the first smartphone in the world to combine both features.

Until now, Oppo’s K13 Turbo and K13 Turbo Pro managed to add water resistance with internal fans, but they lacked full dust protection. With this move, RedMagic is setting a new benchmark in the gaming phone market.
