Islamabad, Sep 28: Redmi Note 14 5G and Buds 6 Now Official announced.
Xiaomi continues to expand its product lineup with the launch of the Redmi Note 14 5G and Redmi Buds 6. The Redmi Note 14 5G is the entry-level model in the series, complementing the Note 14 Pro and Note 14 Pro+. Meanwhile, the Buds 6 represent the latest in-ear true wireless earbuds from Xiaomi’s sub-brand.
Redmi Note 14 5G
The Redmi Note 14 features a 6.67-inch OLED display with FHD+ resolution and a 120Hz refresh rate. It boasts a peak brightness of 2,100 nits and is protected by Corning Gorilla Glass 5.
Under the hood, the device is powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 7025 Ultra chipset, offering configurations of up to 12GB of RAM and 256GB of storage, with microSD support for expansion.
For photography, the phone includes a 50MP main camera equipped with Sony’s LYT-600 sensor and OIS, as well as a 2MP macro lens.
The front-facing camera is 16MP and is positioned in a punch-hole cutout. The runs on Xiaomi’s Hyper OS, based on Android 14, providing a smooth user experience with enhanced security features. It is powered by a 5,110mAh battery that supports 45W fast charging, allowing it to charge from 0% to 50% in around 30 minutes.
The phone is available in Starry White, Phantom Blue, and Midnight Black. Pricing starts at CNY 1,199 ($170) for the 6GB RAM + 128GB variant and CNY 1,699 ($245) for the 12GB RAM + 256GB model.
Open sales in China are set to begin soon, with the possibility of a global release in the upcoming months, making it a strong contender in the mid-range smartphone market due to its combination of premium features and affordability.
Redmi Buds 6
The Redmi Buds 6 are the upgraded successors to last year’s Redmi Buds 5, featuring several key improvements. They come equipped with dual drivers, including 12.4mm titanium-coated dynamic drivers and 5.5mm piezoelectric tweeters. The Buds 6 support Bluetooth 5.4 and can pair with two devices at once.
With an enhanced active noise cancellation (ANC) system, these earbuds can block up to 49dB of ambient noise, while retaining three noise-canceling modes from the previous generation.
Additionally, the Buds 6 offer 360 spatial audio and customizable EQ profiles, which can be accessed through the Xiaomi Headphones app for users who enjoy adjusting their sound settings.
Battery life has been significantly upgraded, providing up to an impressive 42 hours of total playback time when combined with the charging case, which is great news for music lovers.
The Redmi Buds 6 are available in White, Black, and Cyan, priced at CNY 199 ($30), making them an excellent option for those seeking affordable, feature-rich wireless earbuds.
