Islamabad, Dec 10: Redmi is gearing up to launch the Turbo 4, teased under the codename “Little Tornado,” in December. Powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 8400 chipset, it will be the first smartphone globally to feature this advanced processor built on TSMC’s 4nm process.
With a Cortex-A725 architecture, CPU speeds surpassing 3GHz, and the Immortalis-G925 MC12 GPU, the Turbo 4 scores over 1.7 million on AnTuTu, outperforming Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 8 Gen 2.
The Turbo 4 is equipped with a flat OLED screen with 1.5K resolution and 90W fast charging confirmed by its 3C certification. Priced at 1,500 Yuan ($275), it offers flagship-level performance at a mid-range cost. Redmi also plans to release a Turbo 4 Pro in 2025, featuring the Snapdragon 8s Elite chipset.
For international markets, these models will be rebranded as Poco X7 and Poco F7, solidifying Redmi’s dominance in both domestic and global markets. Further details are anticipated later this month.
