Islamabad, July 9, 2025: Punjab Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz Sharif has inaugurated two major road infrastructure projects in Rawalpindi — the Nawaz Sharif Flyover on Adiala Road and the GPO Chowk Underpass on Mall Road. The combined cost of the projects is Rs. 8.77 billion.
The Nawaz Sharif Flyover is designed to streamline traffic between Katcheri Chowk, GT Road, Chakri Interchange, and Rawalpindi Ring Road. It includes a dedicated 2-kilometer service road to further ease congestion. The project will benefit residents of Adiala, Jarar Camp, Gorakhpur, and Khalsa Khurd.
