After beginning trade on the interbank market at 278, the Pakistani rupee (PKR) strengthened versus the US dollar today.It closed the green against the greenback after remaining steady all day. During today’s session, it recorded positive gains against every other major currency.
The interbank rate closed at 278/$, where it had spent the majority of the day. Today’s open market rates were rigidly set at 278 across several currency counters.The PKR lost 10 paisas versus the dollar today, although it gained 0.04 percent to settle at 278.4.Thus far this fiscal year, the rupee has strengthened by 0.03 percent.
In today’s interbank market, the PKR was up against every other major currency. In relation to the Saudi Riyal (SAR), the UAE Dirham (AED), the Australian Dollar (AUD), the British Pound (GBP), and the Euro (EUR), it gained two paisas, twelve paisas, and twelve paisas, respectively.In today’s interbank currency market, it gained 17 paisas against the Canadian dollar (CAD).
