Pakistani Rupee (PKR) slightly gained against the US Dollar (USD) in interbank trading in Wednesday, and closed at Rs. 281.70 against the preceding session at Rs. 281.72.
The Euro recorded a positive performance as it increased by 33 paisa to close at Rs. 328.33 against Tuesday Rs. 328.03 as per the State Bank of Pakistan (SBP). The British Pound shot up by 58 paisa and closed at Rs. 377.74, whereas the Japanese Yen was stable at Rs. 1.89.
The Emirates Dirham declined by 01 paisa and the Saudi Riyal did not fluctuate and was at Rs. 75.07.

According to analysts, the gradual appreciation of the Pakistani rupee can both bring a relief on a short-term basis to businesses whose operations are dependent on foreign exchange, and also affect consumer markets and trade choices.
