Pakistani actress Saba Qamar has filed a defamation lawsuit against journalist Naeem Hanif for allegedly spreading false claims about her personal life.
The legal notice, sent through her lawyers Saigal, Tarar & Leghari LLP, demands a public apology, removal of the content and compensation of Rs. 100 million. The notice warns that legal proceedings will follow if the demands are not met within seven days.

The controversy arose after Hanif claimed in a podcast that Saba Qamar had lived in a house in Walton, Lahore, allegedly provided by a man she was involved with. Qamar dismissed the allegations on Instagram, calling them false and baseless and shared screenshots of the interview.

Addressing her fans, the Kamli actress said, “Stand up for yourself when someone tries to defame or disrespect you. No one has the right to make false accusations just for attention.” She urged people to speak the truth and hold wrongdoers accountable.
