The Federal Board of Revenue (FBR) has sealed Saeed Book Bank, one of the largest bookstores in the capital, over alleged tax evasion. The action was carried out by Mr. Awais Ishaque, Deputy Commissioner RTO Islamabad, due to the store’s non-integration of its Point of Sales (POS) system with the FBR.

The sealing comes as part of FBR’s ongoing crackdown on major businesses accused of bypassing tax regulations. Saeed Book Bank, often regarded as a landmark bookstore in Islamabad, is now under scrutiny for failing to comply with mandatory POS integration requirements.
