Samsung was expected to drop the Samsung Galaxy S26+ and replace it with the Galaxy S26 Edge, alongside the S26 Ultra and S26 Pro. But new reports from Korea suggest the Plus model might still arrive.
Industry insiders reveal that sales of the Galaxy S25 Edge have been weaker than expected, pushing Samsung to rethink its lineup. In fact, the Galaxy S25+ is outselling the Edge version, showing that buyers still prefer the Plus model despite the Edge’s higher price.
Due to this trend, Samsung is reportedly developing the Samsung Galaxy S26+, ensuring it remains part of the flagship family. If the Edge continues to underperform, keeping the Galaxy S26+ could help Samsung boost sales and satisfy customer demand.
