Islamabad, June 13, 2025: Samsung has been a key player in the Android tablet market for over 14 years. While it once stood as the only major rival to Apple’s iPad, the competition has grown significantly in 2025. Though the Galaxy Tab S10+ and S10 Ultra impressed many, there’s still space for further upgrades. With that in mind, here’s a complete breakdown of what could be coming in the next generation: the Galaxy Tab S11 series.

Expected Launch Timeline

Samsung typically sticks to a regular launch schedule for its Tab S lineup. For reference:

  • Tab S10 series was released in September 2024
  • Tab S9 series dropped in August 2023
  • Tab S8 came out in February 2022
  • Tab S7 debuted in September 2020

Following this pattern, the Tab S11 series is likely to arrive sometime between late 2025 and early 2026, possibly aligning with the Galaxy S26 smartphone series. While a second-half 2025 launch window is being floated, some believe it may hit shelves in autumn—though this remains unconfirmed.

Variants and Pricing

Samsung might continue with the two-device format, offering a base Tab S11 and a premium S11 Ultra, with no S11+ version in the pipeline. However, it’s unclear if the S10+ is being renamed as the base S11, or if we’re seeing a shift to a smaller, compact format.

In terms of cost, the Tab S10 Ultra launched at around $1,199/£1,199, while the Tab S10+ started at $999/£999. The S11 series is expected to stay in this range unless major hardware upgrades push prices higher.

Design and Build

Samsung is expected to maintain the slim, strong chassis of the Tab S10 series. Materials like Armour Aluminum and IP68 dust/water resistance will likely return, offering both durability and elegance. Minor reductions in size and weight are anticipated, along with fresh color variants.

Samsung’s AMOLED panels are market-leading, and the Tab S11 Ultra will likely feature a 14.6-inch AMOLED display with 120Hz refresh rate and high resolution. The standard Tab S11 could carry an 11-inch or 12.4-inch screen, depending on whether Samsung goes compact or sticks with the Tab S10+ dimensions.

Performance Specs

The Tab S11 series is likely to adopt MediaTek’s Dimensity 9400 or 9400+ processors, delivering strong multitasking and gaming capabilities. The 9400+ is an upgraded version, possibly powering the Ultra model.

Memory and storage options may include 12GB RAM and 256GB internal storage, with microSD card expansion also likely to remain.

Camera Setup

Cameras on tablets aren’t a top priority, but Samsung could enhance the Tab S11 Ultra’s dual 12MP front cameras with better AI features. Rear cameras may remain at 13MP (main) and 8MP (ultrawide). The base Tab S11 may drop the front ultrawide lens or downgrade the rear setup.

Battery Life and Charging

Battery life remains crucial. The Tab S11 Ultra could see an upgrade to 11,700mAh, up from 11,200mAh on the S10 Ultra. The Tab S11 might stick to around 8,400mAh. 45W wired charging is expected to stay.

The series will ship with One UI 8 based on Android 16, offering improved S Pen tools and multitasking features. Samsung is also set to continue its seven-year update promise, outpacing many competitors. In short, the Tab S11 series promises refined performance, a premium feel, and continued software support—solidifying Samsung’s position as a top contender in the Android tablet market.
