Islamabad, July 11, 2025: Samsung has launched the Galaxy Watch8 and Galaxy Watch8 Classic, featuring a sleeker design, advanced health tools, and a refined user interface. The new models aim to improve comfort and performance with a thinner body, brighter display, and upgraded sensors.
The Galaxy Watch8 is now just 8.6mm thick—11% slimmer than before—and available in 40mm and 44mm sizes. Both versions feature circular AMOLED displays (1.34″ and 1.47″) with peak brightness reaching 3,000 nits. The new “squircle” shape enhances wrist comfort and accuracy in health tracking.
The Watch8 Classic brings back the fan-favorite rotating bezel, available in a 46mm size with a 1.34″ screen. While it’s slimmer, it lacks a larger display option, which may limit its appeal to some users.
All new Galaxy Watches are powered by the 3nm Exynos W1000 chip with 2GB RAM. Storage has improved too—32GB for the standard Watch8 and 64GB for the Classic. The watches run One UI 8 Watch based on Wear OS 6, introducing new features like depthless notifications, customizable widgets, app pinning, and a Quick Button (Classic only).
Health upgrades include Samsung’s new BioActive Sensor offering enhanced accuracy. Features like Vascular Load, Antioxidant Index, Bedtime Guidance, and an upgraded Running Coach make the watch a strong fitness companion. Dual-frequency GPS boosts precision in outdoor activities.

Battery life has seen modest improvement—325mAh for the 40mm model, 435mAh for the 44mm, and 425mAh for the Classic. All support fast wireless charging. Color options include Graphite and Silver for the Watch8, and Black and White for the Classic.

Samsung also updated the Galaxy Watch Ultra, now in Titanium Blue with 64GB storage. Pricing starts at €380 for Watch8, €530 for Watch8 Classic, and $399 for Watch Ultra.
