Islamabad, June 27, 2025: Sardaar Ji 3, the much-anticipated Punjabi blockbuster starring Diljit Dosanjh and Hania Aamir, officially hits cinemas across Pakistan today, June 25, 2025. The film has received clearance from all three Pakistani censor boards—Sindh, Punjab, and the federal board—paving the way for its nationwide release.
The film’s distributor in Pakistan, Zain Wali of Wali Films, confirmed the approvals. Leading cinema chains, including Universal Cinemas Lahore, Cue Cinemas Lahore, and Centaurus Cineplex Islamabad, have begun promoting the film. Universal Cinemas has scheduled its first show at 11:45 am Friday, while Centaurus Cineplex will announce its final showtimes later tonight.
Hania Aamir fueled fan excitement by sharing the official poster on Instagram, tagging major cinema chains and writing: “See you :)”
While the film’s release is mostly confirmed, Nueplex Cinemas Karachi has yet to commit, citing the continued ban on Indian films. A representative stated, “We haven’t received official orders yet. If we do, we’ll announce screenings.”
Produced by Gunbir Singh Sidhu, Manmord Sidhu, and Diljit Dosanjh under White Hill Studios and Story Time Productions, Sardaar Ji 3 technically avoids the Bollywood ban. With White Hill Studios registered in Canada, the film qualifies as a non-mainstream Indian production, allowing it to bypass restrictions imposed after 2019’s Indo-Pak tensions.
The film’s release follows controversy in India, where Dosanjh is facing backlash for casting Hania Aamir. Indian film bodies are urging a boycott. Dosanjh defended the move, praising Aamir’s talent and confirming the decision was driven by global business prospects.
Despite political pressures, Sardaar Ji 3 is set to become a cultural bridge, showing that Punjabi cinema still thrives across borders. With screenings confirmed and fan anticipation at a high, the film is poised to attract massive footfall in Pakistani theaters this weekend.
