Islamabad, July 2, 2025: After months of wait, the creators of Sarzameen have finally unveiled the eagerly-awaited teaser featuring Prithviraj Sukumaran, Kajol, and Ibrahim Ali Khan. Set for release on streaming giant JioHotstar, the Kayoze Irani directorial teases an intense narrative rooted in the landscapes of Kashmir.
While some fans were excited, a set of the audience wasn’t entirely sold on the one-minute thirty-second preview.
As the teaser dropped across various social platforms, viewers flooded the comments with mixed reactions. Many praised the on-screen pairing of Prithviraj and Kajol, expressing their excitement over seeing them together.
Ibrahim’s new appearance also drew attention, although not all responses were positive. Some online users voiced discontent over his presence, criticizing producer Karan Johar for endorsing “unworthy nepo kids.”

One user on X, “Ibrahim Ali Khan, son of Saif Ali Khan, has one of the strongest screen presences among new-gen actors—especially visually. Hopefully, his acting skills match up.” Another remarked, “Everything seems perfect except the usual nepotism cast.”

A more blunt post read, “Bollywood would thrive without Karan Johar. He constantly promotes talentless insiders and expects us to accept it. Even Kajol feels overhyped now. Her repetitive roles are tiring.”
Released on Monday, the teaser showcases Prithviraj as a brave Army officer dedicated to his duty. Kajol plays his emotionally grounded wife, sharing touching scenes. Ibrahim appears later in a dark, rugged avatar—scarred, with kohl-lined eyes—hinting at a morally complex role. Plot details remain confidential.
Backed by Dharma Productions and directed by Boman Irani’s son, Kayoze Irani, Sarzameen will debut on JioHotstar on July 25, 2025.
