Islamabad, May 12, 2025: In a positive turn of events, Saudi Airlines has resumed its flight operations to Pakistan following the ceasefire between Pakistan and India.

Flight SV-704, departing from Jeddah, marked the first service to Karachi under the renewed operations, while the return flight, SV-3705, will travel back to Jeddah as part of the Hajj service.

This development comes after intense conflict between Pakistan and India, which lasted for four days, and has led to several other UAE-based airlines announcing the resumption of their flights to both countries.

Emirates, Etihad Airways, and Air Arabia began partial operations on May 11, 2025, in the early hours, with an emphasis on adapting to the ongoing situation.

The Pakistan Airport Authority (PAA) has confirmed that the nation’s airspace has been fully restored and is operating as usual.

A formal statement from the PAA highlighted that all airports in Pakistan are adhering to regular schedules.

Travelers are urged to check with their airlines for the latest updates and flight schedules.
